I like rangers because they are so horribly misunderestimated (bushism).
"What? A Ranger making hell for our casters? Nonsense! Continue killing that Mesmer we have already subdued!"

Why the ranger?
Because both in gaming and ideology, it most represents what I like and believe.

I never play "ranger-like" characters in games usually... but I dunno, I like them in Guild Wars.

A warrior. They are not as easy as they seem. They have to be able to take lots of damage and deal lots of damage. I would like it if I could have 2 swords. Twin Simitars.

I voted Ranger, but it's just ahead of Warrior and Elementalist. I've always liked the characters that used a bow, even back to my first reading of LOTR (way back before the movies were a Peter Jackson Project but after the Ralph Bakshi movie). I've been playing an Elementalist in GW since E3 and a Warrior since Nov BWE.

I like elementalists. I don't know why, it's just the class that really seems to click with my playing style.

Well for me Necros look kool. They just always look like they are up to something evil. I just wish that they made them look a little bigger instead of so skinny. Next BWE Im gonna try out Warrior chix. Cuz they look pretty hot.

Warrior was my first love, and therefore I feel compelled to vote for it. My main in release will likely be a warrior too, although I played a monk for GvG in the last event and it was a blast.

Ranger takes the cake on this one, though Elementalists and their crazy meteor/Firestorm attacks would be a close second place..

Necromancer, totally :P Whenever I play RPG's I'm normally the sadistic, evil villany type...since there is no 'villan' in GW, Necromancer is the next best thing purely on their general Ethos.
Besides, they look so ferral in their posture, I just find them horribly apealing. >_>
And minus617, you don't usually see many 'buff' necromancers. They're usually pretty decrepid and skinny. Just kinda goes with the territory methinks. The day I see a radient and built necromancer is the day cows fly!

Yeah many people try to be like a character from a movie/other videogame, I played the Lineage2 Beta and I saw many people trying to be like Sephiroth from FF7...and well for WoW Nightelf-Ranegrs are very popular since Illidan the Demonhunter...oh well :P I like mesmers the most too. But mainly because of their Illusunary Weaponry...not too many people like that *likes being unique *
